The hotel is located in a beautiful area surrounded by nature, offering a great spot for various activities. The rooms were newly renovated but quite small and a bit noisy, which made it less than ideal for relaxation. The service was friendly, though I experienced some long wait times, particularly at the pool bar. Overall, it's a decent value for money considering the amenities available, but there are definitely areas that could use improvement.

I recently spent a couple of nights at Mont Gabriel with friends and found the getaway to be quite enjoyable, though not without its flaws. The secluded location and the amenities like the indoor and outdoor pools were highlights. However, the service could have been improved, particularly in the dining department which felt overpriced for the quality.

My stay at Mont Gabriel was a mix of beautiful surroundings and some frustrating moments. The location is perfect for skiing and the dining experience had its highlights, but the service and room details left a lot to be desired. Overall, while I enjoyed some aspects, the experience could have been better with more attention to detail.

I had a pleasant stay at Mont Gabriel, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and cozy atmosphere. However, the long walks from my room to the pool and some issues with restaurant service left room for improvement. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway but came with a few drawbacks.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. The location is picturesque and perfect for a cozy retreat, but the service and cleanliness left much to be desired. While I appreciated the tennis facilities, I encountered some serious issues with my room and dining service.

Rooms

The room I received was small, and despite asking for one that fits five, it could only accommodate four. It was also not ready at 4 pm, which was frustrating (I had high hopes!).
Service
5.0
While most staff were friendly, I had a particularly bad experience with a barmaid named Jenna, who was rude and seemed to forget my orders. The housekeeping service left much to be desired, as my room was only cleaned at checkout (not great for a short stay).
Location

The resort is beautifully located in the mountains, near ski hills and lovely hiking spots. I loved the warm swimming pool at night, and my six-year-old couldn’t stop talking about wanting to return (definitely a highlight for our family!).
Dining

Dining options were varied, but the service was extremely slow. I felt a bit disappointed with the wait times and the lack of attentiveness, especially since it took over two hours to get food delivered to my room (not ideal for hungry kids!).

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. On the plus side, the location was fantastic for skiing and the staff were genuinely friendly which made the experience pleasant. However, the rooms were quite small and the air conditioning was poorly positioned, making it uncomfortable at times. Also, the dining seemed overpriced for the quality provided.

The staff was a cheerful bunch and went out of their way to help, even bringing drinks to our room for a small charge which was nice.
Location
9.0
The location is awesome for skiing and there's a lovely vibe overall, but I was hoping for a bit more from the area. It was also near St. Sauveur for dining options.
Dining
5.0
I found the prices a bit steep for what was served. We spent around $50 for two, and while the artisan bread was good, the overall value wasn't great.
Facilities

The hotel is under renovations, which could affect your stay. However, the part that's completed is lovely and well-maintained.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On one hand, the location was absolutely beautiful and perfect for skiing. On the other hand, the rooms, especially in the Rustic part, were surprisingly humid and not as fresh as I had hoped. The service was mostly good, except for one staff member who was quite rude. Overall, it’s a decent spot, but improvements could certainly be made.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, set high in the mountains, which created a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. However, the room was quite cramped and the beds were uncomfortable, not to mention the air conditioning unit was moldy. The service was decent, especially when they surprised us with free drinks, but the dining options felt a bit overpriced for what they offered.

Rooms
5.0
The room was too small with two double beds that felt extremely hard. It was disappointing to see mold in the air conditioning unit. It did have a complete kitchenette, which was a nice touch.
Service
